Lydia Kalbermatter

Lydia received her classical dance training at various ballet schools in Germany and abroad; she is currently completing her training as a ballet teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance.
She loves the evocative power of ballet, but she also places great importance on the theoretical aspects of her teaching. She places great emphasis on teaching the fundamentals and progressions of ballet with technical precision—convinced that artistic expression and musicality must be built on a solid foundation of strength, alignment, and body awareness in order to prevent injuries, enable progress, and make a lifetime of dancing possible.
