Modern Dance

Modern jazz combines elements from African, modern and classical dance: We spin, jump, spiral and refine our technique and body tension in a fun way. One focus is on large movements through space. This spatial experience gives us a feeling of excitement and weightlessness. The choreographies in the class are as varied as the music we dance to: From calm and gentle to groovy and funky to powerful and combative. Individual dance preferences can be danced to and new shores explored.
